What’s on at Indigo?

Relationship Workshops

If you’re in a counselling process or thinking you need counselling, you will find the workshop an excellent way to start getting a perspective on what has been getting in the way. Depending on where you’re at – you might find the workshop enough to really make the difference without counselling. If things are really tough, the workshop might get you part way to understanding the problems and with some counselling help, make bigger progress in shorter time.

You will learn current, evidence-based information about relationship dynamics, and about the way our own emotional wiring feeds in to our relationship patterns. You will see video footage of real couples having conversations to help them connect and understand each other, then go away on your own to practice these same conversations in a structured way, with support available if needed.

Abstract Art, Yoga and Wellbeing

Join artist Lorna Crane and yoga and mindfulness practitioners for a very special and nourishing escape at Indigo Retreat, a luxury eco-lodge near Bermagui, NSW. Located in a stunning section of the wilderness coast, the retreat borders miles of National Parks in one of Australia’s most unspoiled coastlines.

If you are looking for a break away from your work, your life or even your own head, this workshop could be perfect for you. Surrounded by the bush and overlooking Murrah lake, even arriving at the beautiful retreat environment will instantly soothe your soul as you disconnect from the outside world. Indigo guests report that within hours their “to do” lists fade into oblivion. This should give you 4 days more to look after yourself, rejuvenate, relax and have fun.

Mornings will start with a walk along our private track to Murrah Beach, or if you need more rest, sleep in snuggled into one of the retreat’s beautiful rooms. After breakfast there’ll be a gentle yoga/stretch class, before starting on Lorna’s brushes and mark-making workshop.

Surviving & Thriving After Separation

Take 3, 4 or 5 days out for yourself and spend some time reflecting and regenerating after the breakdown of your relationship. The retreat is suitable if you’ve recently separated or if you’ve been ‘just surviving’ on your own for a more than a while.

The weekend offers a mix of optional therapeutic and educational sessions, depending on where you’re at: grief and loss after relationship breakdown, communicating and successful co-parenting with former partners, looking after yourself and steering your life in a nourishing and positive direction. After the weekend finishes, you have the option of staying on at Indigo Retreat at no extra cost until Tuesday morning, having time to rest, relax and reflect.

To facilitate regeneration, there will be relaxing walks, yoga and stretch classes, meditation and wellbeing sessions. Also, an inspirational and practical cooking lesson on how you can produce beautiful nourishing food on a daily basis, even when pressed for time and motivation.
